IMPORTANT: Issuers should use the values shown in the “Field Value” column in the table below when coding for RDX.

- Indicates the type of Authentication request
- This data element provides additional information to the ACS to determine the best approach for handling an authentication request
- TransactionAmount and TransactionCurrency elements are optional
- 3DS Requestor Authentication Indicator field is required for 02-NPA if 3DS Requestor Authentication Indicator = 02 or 03
- RDX will pass the numeric value on the InitiateAction request
